Just like in week 2 with coral, as soon as I saw the swatch for this week, I knew
exactly what I was going to wear.
This week's color is one that I already wear quite often in SL. I love turquoise tones, they match my eyes so well...*grins..ahem...back on track! I've had this dress for a little while now, all cozied up in my inventory and just waiting for its chance. This was it's week! I am so in love with sweater dresses to begin with, AND, it was in the perfect color for the challenge, ergo...a win win for the Aev's this week!
As I began to create the look around the dress, I did as I so often do, and just let things happen organically. I knew I wanted leggings or tights under the dress and knew I had just unpacked the outfit these leggings are from a couple of weeks ago. I thought they might work so I put them on and it was like....Yusss!! These leggings just complimented the dress so well and as a bonus they kept my arse from hanging out for all and sundry to see!
Taking my cues from the leggings, I chose a vintage ETD tote in a rich purple leather and suede boots from Indyra in a dark teal shade. Alright!...this look was rocking!! I was dancing happily up in my sky closet.
Time for sparklies! Digging through my jewelry box I searched for and pulled out a couple of my favorite Random Calliope rings from a few years back and the Soar set from Earthstones that I simply adore. All that was needed was some bangles for my wrists and I kept those casual. Some silver bangles from Spork and a layered set from Miel did the trick nicely. All that was left was to slick on a fresh coat of nail polish, and Week 5 was done!
I have to say, this is my favorite look so far, what do you think?

**Oh and on a separate topic, coming up with titles for your blog posts gets a little hard sometimes, ...my only reasoning for this post's title is that I'm wearing "plush" items, a comfy cozy sweater and some divinely soft leggings. that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
